Warehouse Management Systems-Importance of Radio
Frequency (RF) Systems

The foundation of every well run warehouse system is the
need for accurate data collection. Data collection represents the ability to
scan barcodes rather than manually type them in. This provides one key
benefit…Accuracy. Adding a Radio Frequency (RF) handheld computers to your WMS
program represents one of the key components to achieving accurate data
collection. The RF devices are linked to your local wi-fi internet access points.

Once your warehouse is set up with RF devices data
collection becomes mobile and you will improve accuracy by scanning products as
they are received at your dock doors. Pick and Pack orders are greatly
simplified as products are scanned as they are rolled from racks within your
warehouse operation.

RF Systems are a key essential and component of a well run
Warehouse Management Software program.
